Wednesday, September 21 -optional meet & greet at Circle D Motel & Restaurant in Escalante. (435-826-4297) Rooms are available for $79/night (2 double beds) Reserve early! Meet for dinner on the patio at 6 pm. Lodging and dining are not included. DAY 1 Thursday, September 22 -Meet at the Hurricane Wash parking lot for a group shuttle to 40 Mile Ridge Trailhead. Enter Coyote Gulch through Crack in the Wall. Set up camp. Daytrip to Cliff Arch and waterfalls. DAY 2 Friday, September 23 -Explore Coyote Gulch, Steven's Arch, Black Lagoon, Fremont/Anasaze Indian pictographs, dwellings, and artifacts, Coyote Natural Bridge & Ruins, The Gap, Swiss cheese Waterfalls, and Jacob Hamblin Arch. DAY 3 Saturday, September 24 -Exit Coyote Gulch via Hurricane Wash. Registration includes a pre-hike planning blog as well as FREE registration for: Backpacking 101, an informational evening August 26th, 5:30pm at Gravity Coalition in Midway, UT. Trip cost includes permits, shuttle transfer to the trailhead, a guided hike down Crack-in the Wall and through the breathtaking Coyote Gulch. We will take you on an epic canyon adventure, discovering all of the Gulch's coolest features! Upon completion, you will feel more confident planning and executing your own backpacking trips in the future! You will need to provide: All of your own gear: Backpack, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, tent, stove, cookware, boots, etc. You will also need to provide all of your own food. $299 is the EARLY BIRD PRICE - cost will increase on Aug 27! We are not able to issue any refunds. If you aren't able to attend we can give you a credit for other activities!
